There’s something magical about returning to a place that holds so many memories, and for T, Albuquerque is just that. I had the pleasure of capturing their maternity session in the stunning Sandia Mountains, where the warm summer breeze and breathtaking vistas made for an unforgettable backdrop!

T and S’s journey together began back in college, but it wasn’t until they found themselves living in Portland, OR, that their paths intertwined. Amidst the city’s quirky charm and vibrant culture, their friendship blossomed into what it is today, an incredible partnership. Fast forward to now, they’re living in Washington, cherishing every moment of their growing relationship as they navigate new adventures together.

One of their favorite pastimes is spending time with their beloved dogs, going on leisurely walks, and discovering the hidden gems of their new city. Whether it’s sampling delicious dishes at a new restaurant or finding tranquility by a serene lake, T and S embrace every opportunity to explore and create memories.

This session was especially sweet because Albuquerque holds a special place in T’s heart—it’s her hometown. It felt like coming full circle, celebrating this new chapter in a place filled with nostalgia. And to make the session even more delightful, T had a fun craving during her pregnancy: strawberries. So, naturally, we brought along a picnic with the juiciest strawberries, adding a touch of sweetness to the already perfect evening!
