NEW YORK WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER // NEW YORK WEDDING // BROOKLYN WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER
There’s something magnetic about a New York City wedding in the fall—the golden light, the crisp air, and the feeling that something magical might happen around every corner. And let me tell you, T and J’s wedding day at The Foundry in Queens? It was the perfect mix of cozy, modern, and wildly fun.
From the start, this day was centered on intentional time together. Instead of splitting off for separate getting-ready spaces, T and J chose to get ready with their people—everyone in one spot, laughter echoing off the walls, champagne being passed around, playlists on shuffle. It was laid-back, heartfelt, and honestly, the sweetest way to start a wedding day. You could feel the joy and closeness in the room.
Their ceremony took place inside The Foundry’s industrial-chic walls, and it was pure intimacy. String lights twinkled above, florals softened the space, and every word spoken felt tender and intentional. This hush during the vows only happens when everyone is truly present. It was one of those moments when time slows down.
Then came the vibe shift—reception time. Dinner was held al fresco in the courtyard under the New York sky, complete with long tables, candlelight, and the kind of ambiance Pinterest dreams are made of. The city buzzed around them, but this little courtyard felt like their own private oasis. Guests sipped cocktails, swapped stories, and shared plates under the stars.
And once dinner wrapped up, everyone headed back inside for dancing. The energy was high, the music was on point, and the dance floor stayed packed all night. It was the kind of party where no one wanted to leave.
T and J’s day was the ultimate city-meets-sentimental wedding. It felt like them—authentic, modern, joyful, and full of love. The Foundry was the perfect canvas, and New York, as always, added its own kind of magic.
