A Late Spring Engagement Session at Noelle Hotel and Belmont University in Nashville

There is something special about a Nashville Engagement Session that tells your story through places that already mean something to you. For K and J, that meant starting their late spring engagement session at the Noelle Hotel, where they will be getting married next year, before ending the evening at Belmont University. Each location represented a different part of Nashville while perfectly reflecting who they are as a couple. It was such a fun evening to document, and I already cannot wait to celebrate with them again on their wedding day.

About Kassidie and Jack

K and J met through mutual friends while attending the University of Tennessee Knoxville (Go Vols! It’s also where I first met K!), and they have been building a relationship rooted in both adventure and the simple joys of everyday life ever since. Whether they are exploring Europe, tackling a new puzzle, cooking dinner together, or simply running errands, they genuinely love spending time together, no matter what they are doing.

One of their favorite memories is their first real date in the Smoky Mountains, while one of their biggest adventures took them through Vienna, Prague, Munich, and Krakow in just nine days, sleeping on trains along the way. Their proposal was just as memorable. K thought they were headed to a nice dinner, but J surprised her with a proposal followed by an engagement party filled with their family and friends waiting at home.

Throughout their Nashville engagement session, their friendship, laughter, and genuine excitement for this next chapter made every photograph feel effortless.

Noelle Hotel

We started their session at the beautiful Noelle Hotel in downtown Nashville, the same place where they will be saying “I do” next year. There is something incredibly meaningful about photographing your engagement session at your wedding venue. It gives you a chance to explore the space together and begin creating memories there long before your wedding day arrives.

With its timeless architecture, elegant details, and classic downtown atmosphere, Noelle provided the perfect backdrop while allowing K and J’s connection to remain the focus. I already know it is going to be so special returning here next year to document another chapter of their story.

Belmont University

After spending time downtown, we made our way to Belmont University to finish the evening. Late spring is one of my favorite times for engagement sessions in Nashville, and Belmont was filled with beautiful greenery, blooming trees, and soft evening light. It was also a meaningful location for K, as her sister had her engagement photos taken here as well, making it a sweet way to continue a family tradition.

The campus offered a completely different feel from downtown, with its tree lined walkways, historic buildings, and quiet corners creating a timeless backdrop. It added variety to their gallery and was a great way to wrap up their Nashville engagement session with a setting that felt classic, relaxed, and distinctly Nashville.
