FLORIDA PROPOSAL // FLORIDA WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER // PENSACOLA WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER // FLORIDA ELOPEMENT PLANNER

Before I moved down to Destin at the start of 2020, C and I realized we were both moving to the same area. We went to the same college, but didn’t know each other during our time at UTK! After moving to the area we became fast friends. She and R started dating not long after. So when R started talking about proposing I knew we needed to come up with the best surprise proposal!

I told C that I had this new location I wanted to shoot more at and asked if she and R would be willing to come model for me one morning. She and I spent time looking for the perfect outfit all the while I was conspiring with R about how he was going to propose.

We had decided they were going to write letters to each other as a sentimental gesture and they would stand back to back to each other opening them. R’s letter to C said

“Do you love me? Do you want to be my wife? If you do, well then don’t be afraid to pick me for life! I think this is how proposals go… check yes or no”

Lyrics from one of their songs (modified a little bit) and such an appropriate way to ask her. He then got down on one knee so when she turned around he was there with a ring. C truly had no clue we had been planning this for weeks!

I was so glad to be there to capture such an important moment in their lives! I cannot wait for their engagement photos this spring and their wedding later this year!
