Have you ever wondered what getting married on a boat would look like? How it would make you feel? Or why it would a unique thing to add to your elopement day?

D + T were wonderful enough to showcase for us what it would look like and since I was there I can tell you what it was like!

We started in the north waters of Richardson Bay, sailing by the Angel Island State Park and Alcatraz Federal Penitentiary.

We went under (yes under!) the Golden Gate Bridge. That was a bucket list item checked off! We spotted dolphins and one of the old lighthouses that is situated at the bridges base.

As we were heading back to dock we were able to view the iconic San Francisco city skyline. We got so lucky that it was a clear day. The day before Carl (the fog) made an appearance that made it hard to see far at all!

Elopement days offer flexibility and the option to do things you would not on a typical wedding day, like saying your vows on a boat as you are sailing under the Golden Gate Bridge!
