Right before I got into town this past May I got the best texts from someone who is like family and it wasn’t even words. It was a single picture of M and J, M was absolutely beaming as she was holding up her left hand showing the ring J proposed with after their run (honestly impressed he was able to hold on to it)!

From M after he proposed: “Well he’s been joking for the last week and kept pretending to get down on one knee so last night after our run, we were both on our runners high and walking back to the car and I pointed out the sunset and he stopped me & looked at me and then we started talking about spending the rest of our lives together & then he got down on one knee and I was like wait really this time lol. And he smiled and I just got down next to him and we kissed and talked and I said yes!!!!!! And then the walk back to the car was so nice. We don’t take our phones on our run so it was truly just us living in the moment together🤍”

It was only fitting that while I was in town to do their engagement photos. We had the best time exploring downtown Nashville!

M and J are sweet with each other and you can see the love they so evidently have for the other! We laughed and joked around, and they were totally in their element. From the symphony hall, we headed to the bustling streets of downtown and stopped for some iconic Nashville shots. We even got a few on the famous John Seigenthaler Pedestrian Bridge.

I don’t know anyone more deserving of receiving the same level of love they give out than M, so to see J match her energy and love was heart warming. I love you both and I cannot wait to celebrate y’all later this year!
