30-A WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER // ROSEMARY BEACH WEDDING // 30-A PHOTOGRAPHER // 30-A WEDDING
Oh my, where to start! D and C’s destination wedding in Rosemary Beach along 30-A was a dream come true for these two who had known each other since middle school. Their story has taken them on many adventures, from attending a Sam Hunt concert in Chicago to exploring the vibrant landscapes of Mexico, but their wedding has been the most incredible one. All starting with D’s proposal to C.
D had carefully planned it, starting the day at their favorite coffee shop, then visiting a dog-friendly bar where they spent quality time with their beloved Great Dane. Afterward, they enjoyed a leisurely lunch before D surprised C with a romantic picnic. Little did she know that the day would conclude with a grand party surrounded by their closest friends and family, making it a day she would cherish forever.
It was evident that D + C infused their wedding day with personal touches that reflected their deep connection. D’s wedding band held sentimental value as it had once belonged to his grandfather. C incorporated a piece of her mother’s wedding dress into her own, creating a beautiful link to her mom throughout the day. Their chosen wedding date held a poignant significance, as it marked the day C’s beloved grandfather had passed away, a man who had played a pivotal role in her life. The choice of Rosemary Beach as their wedding destination had been a decision made after careful consideration, but once C set her eyes on it, she knew it was the perfect place to say their vows.
The ceremony itself was filled with love and meaning, with D’s grandfather presiding as the minister. The wedding party included five adorable flower girls and two charming ring bearers, adding a touch of excitement and joy to the proceedings (they all mostly made it down the aisle!!).
The reception was a vision of elegance, with a black and white checkered board dance floor that invited guests to dance the night away. A champagne wall added a touch of opulence to the evening, and the venue was adorned with delicate baby’s breath and white roses. C’s sister, who served as the maid of honor, shared a heartfelt speech that included a playful reference to C’s middle school days, reflecting on how a simple drop-off at D’s house had led to this beautiful moment in time.
The mother/son and father/daughter dances were particularly touching, as both songs had been written by the parents themselves. The couple also changed into reception outfits, adding an element of surprise and delight for their guests.
Despite their beloved Great Dane not being able to attend the wedding, a huge cutout of their furry family member was prominently displayed at the reception, serving as a reminder of their cherished pet and the joy he brought into their lives.
D and C’s luxury destination wedding along 30-A on the eastern green in Rosemary Beach was a celebration of their love, filled with personal touches, heartfelt moments, and a promise of a future filled with adventure and happiness. It was a day they would always hold dear in their hearts, a testament to their enduring love story that began in middle school and had led them to this beautiful chapter in their lives.
Congrats to the Hendersons!!
“Audrey was everything we could have asked for in a photographer. She made us feel so special, she captured our day so perfectly. She helped make sure I had everything ready to go for the big day. I would always feel so much better after talking to her. She is truly so talented and we are so thankful we chose her. 10/10 experience! I highly recommend, you seriously will not regret it.”
