Some friendships are just meant to be, and my bond with S is one of those special connections! We met in college during a photography class and quickly became fast friends. Since then, I’ve had the privilege of photographing her relationship with R, first in Miami on my way to the Keys for an elopement, and now in Knoxville for their engagement photos.

R and S’s love story is as adventurous as it is beautiful. They met at EDC in 2018, bonding over their shared passion for music festivals. And their engagement was a dream come true during a trip to Europe, where they explored Spain, Italy, and France!

R and S are getting married next summer in Knoxville, and I’m honored that they want me to be a guest at their wedding. This happy coincidence allowed me to capture their engagement photos back in Knoxville, blending the best of both worlds: of getting to be a guest, but capturing such a special time in their lives. 

We planned a three-part shoot to capture the essence of their love story. We started at a chic and modern bar in downtown Knoxville, where the ambiance perfectly matched their elegant style. The photos turned out beautifully, reflecting their sophisticated taste and the deep connection they share.

We then headed to S’s childhood home for heartwarming time with their pups and her family. This setting added a personal touch, with the familiar surroundings evoking sweet memories and natural smiles. Their furry friends brought so much joy and energy to the session, making it even more special!

After an incredible dinner at a local gem in the Old City, we wandered around the charming streets, capturing candid moments and enjoying the vibrant atmosphere. The backdrop of Old City provided a perfect contrast to the modern bar photos, adding depth and variety to our time.

The evening was a delightful blend of catching up and capturing their love. I’m so excited for their May 2025 wedding back in Knoxville, and I can’t wait to witness and celebrate the next chapter of their journey! R and S, here’s to many more adventures and a lifetime of happiness together!
