Who knew Arkansas was so cool?!? I had never been before and I am so glad that K + H gave me the best reason to come here for the first time to explore. For their adventurous elopement none the less!

When K + H came across me they were in the midst of moving from Sacramento, California to Fayetteville, Arkansas for K’s job. Because of family health concerns along with COIVD they decided that the best way to included their family members was by giving them the gift of amazing photos and celebrating their love in a way that was true to themselves.

K + H got ready in a charming little cabin that was nestled in the mountains of the Ozarks. While H got ready in the loft with her mother, K got ready downstairs. They did their first look on the porch of the cabin that overlooked the trees that were changing colors and the mountains.

They had their intimate ceremony out front of the cabin with H’s grandmother officiating it with flower arrangements and bouquets that H created herself. Their triangular arch was made by her father who is going to repurpose the arch into a plant holder to be in their home after they get back settled in! After their ceremony we (H, K and myself) piled into our cars to head to a hike down the road to make it to the overlook in time for sunset photos.

The day after their elopement they went and got matching tattoos! What a unique activity to celebrate their marriage!! Congratulations you two!
