L and J’s wedding at 5Eleven Palafox in downtown Pensacola was nothing short of spectacular, especially considering the weather! What was predicted to be a stormy, humid summer day turned into the perfect overcast, cool afternoon with low humidity—a rare blessing for Florida in June. The day was filled with unique touches and personal moments that reflected their love and personality.

They started their wedding day with a clear tent ceremony—raindrops still glistening on the top—creating the most enchanting vibe. Instead of the traditional walk, L and J made their grand entrance together down the aisle, setting the tone for a short but sweet ceremony officiated by a close friend. It was a moment that felt just right, intimate yet fun, surrounded by their closest family and friends. And let’s not forget the six adorable flower girls who stole hearts before L made her stunning appearance!

L’s attention to detail shone throughout the day. She personally designed and coordinated every aspect of the wedding, from the decor to the guest experience. It was evident in the seamless flow of the day, and the guests were in awe of her beautifully curated vision. One of the most memorable moments was the couple’s grand entrance during the reception. As they entered, they were accompanied by giant heads of their two cats—a playful and adorable nod to their fur babies! These big heads made appearances again later on the dance floor, adding to the fun and laughter of the evening.

One part of the day that felt particularly special was the time they carved out just for themselves. After the ceremony, they took cocktail hour to mingle with their guests and then spent 45 minutes alone during dinner. It was such a peaceful moment for them to reflect on the day, and honestly, it’s something I believe more couples should embrace. It’s easy to get swept up in the celebration, but taking a quiet moment together can make the day even more meaningful.

Their day was filled with laughter, but also tender, unforgettable moments. Their first look was one of those. J’s reaction to seeing L in her wedding dress was priceless—you could just feel the love between them. Having met in college, their journey has been full of adventures, but their favorite so far has been weekends seeing Adele in Vegas. Their love for travel was a constant theme, from their engagement session in Santorini, Greece, which was featured on their Save the Date cards, to their upcoming honeymoon to Switzerland and Italy, where they’ll also get to see Taylor Swift!
