Last fall, I had the pleasure of capturing M and C’s destination couple session at the stunning Rocky Mountain National Park. They made the trip up from Pueblo, Colorado, where they now call home, for an afternoon full of laughter and exploring The weather was perfect—a crisp fall day that even brought a light sprinkle, gifting us with a double rainbow! The timing couldn’t have been better.

M and C were so much fun to work with. Their relationship began back in college, where they were neighbors, and the rest was history. They just got married last summer in Panama City Beach, which holds a special place in my heart since I lived there in the Florida panhandle before moving away last summer! Hearing about their beach wedding brought back some sweet memories of my time in that area.

As we explored the park together, C shared his love for disc golf and rock climbing—especially bouldering, which he’s passionate about. M is all about self-care and loves losing herself in a good book or spending an afternoon at the movies. These days, they’ve embraced the cozy life with their older dogs. They used to be avid hikers, always taking weekend trips to explore the outdoors, but with their dogs slowing down, they’ve become total homebodies.

It was an honor to spend this time with M and C and capture a piece of their journey in such a breathtaking place. Here’s to more adventures, and cozy nights in!
