C and C’s winter wedding in Key West was the definition of laid-back luxury, with the perfect mix of fun, heartfelt moments, and tropical magic. From their dreamy sunset cruise welcome party to key lime pie desserts and an unexpected blow-up shark suit on the dance floor, this Casa Marina celebration was one for the books!
C and C first met while working together at a college restaurant and bar, and their connection only grew from there. C popped the question in Central Park on a quiet Sunday afternoon, after months of rainy weekends. It was during their morning coffee and park stroll—a tradition of theirs—when he asked, creating one of their most cherished memories.

The festivities kicked off the evening before with a sunset cruise, setting the tone for an unforgettable wedding weekend. As the sky lit up with one of the best Key West sunsets we could’ve asked for, a few sweet speeches were given, and the excitement was high. It was the perfect way to welcome their guests and soak in the beauty of the Florida Keys before the big day!
With Key West’s ocean breeze, the stunning Casa Marina setting, and a celebration filled with adventure, love, and laughter, C and C’s destination wedding was nothing short of incredible. These two love to travel, explore new coffee shops, and enjoy cozy movie nights in—so it’s no surprise that their wedding was the perfect balance of relaxed and exciting.
C’s mom gifted her a beautiful matching bracelet that she wore throughout the day, adding an extra layer of sentimentality.
C and C’s first look was as sweet as it gets. C told the funniest story about how C’s dress had been hanging in their closet for months, and every time he went in, he made sure to turn his eyes away so he wouldn’t accidentally catch a peek—talk about dedication! The moment was worth the wait when he finally saw her in it. C also shared a first look with his mom, which added another layer of memories to the day.
Most of the day was spent at the stunning Casa Marina, a Curio Collection by Hilton hotel that offers the perfect beachfront backdrop for a destination wedding. At one point, we took a little detour off-property to explore a local theater and bar, adding a bit of Key West charm to the day.
Their ceremony took place on the beach overlooking the ocean, and it was as beautiful and peaceful as it sounds!
The details were chef’s kiss—especially the cocktail hour setup, which was absolutely stunning! And her parents’ speech? Not a dry eye in the room. After an emotional dinner, guests were treated to an iconic Florida Keys touch—key lime pies instead of a traditional wedding cake. Such a fun twist!
One of their friends was the life of the party, showing up both nights with squeaky chicken toys and eventually donning a full-on blow-up shark suit to hit the dance floor! The energy was electric, and it was the perfect way to wrap up a wedding that felt equal parts exciting, heartfelt, and full of love.
Cheers to a lifetime of love, laughter, and many more squeaky chicken moments!
