Some friendships are just meant to be, and my bond with S is one of those special connections! We met in college during a photography class and quickly became fast friends. Since then, I’ve had the privilege of photographing her relationship with R, first in Miami on my way to the Keys for an elopement, and now in Knoxville for their engagement photos.

A and W’s whirlwind two-day elopement was a wild Alaskan adventure from start to finish! They kicked things off with exploring on day 1, checking out their ceremony location. Day 2 was their jaw-dropping wedding ceremony set against the cozy cabins of Hatchers Pass near the small town of Palmer, Alaska. The love in the air was palpable as they exchanged vows amidst the rustic charm of the cabins. But they weren’t content with just that – these lovebirds craved the extraordinary! So, they hopped on a helicopter ride, zooming through the Alaskan skies to a glacier, where they felt on top of the world and in love like never before. A and W’s decision to move to Alaska originally for W’s job turned into a love affair with the Last Frontier, and A, the realtor extraordinaire, ensured that they found a home as unique as their love story. With Alaska as their backdrop and each other as their adventure, their two-day elopement was an unforgettable celebration of love and the wild wonders of the north!

Last October, H and A embarked on a journey that was both deeply personal and profoundly beautiful, celebrating their love with an intimate elopement in Zion National Park. Their day was filled with meaningful moments, stunning landscapes, and a touch of their shared passion for Star Wars!

First, why choose New Mexico for your elopement?

Uhum where do I even start!? Southwest desert vibes, incredible history (hello, Santa Fe is the oldest city in the United states), and crazy-beautiful sunsets. Not enough? There are also rock formations, hot air balloons, and art districts. And lastly, New Mexico is full of wild landscapes similar to the surrounding states—except with half the crowds.

This place is so underrated. But hey, I’d rather keep this place as our little best-kept anyways! Let’s get into the details of planning your New Mexico elopement.

If you’re thinking about eloping in a beautiful place somewhere in the world you’ve undoubtedly come across the term “adventure elopement”. J and N’s urban winter elopement at Race + Religious in the heart of New Orleans was nothing short of a lively and magical celebration! With the soulful sounds of a brass band filling the air, these two lovebirds embarked on a whimsical journey into marital bliss. The charming streets of the Big Easy set the perfect backdrop for their intimate gathering of two, and as they exchanged vows, you could feel the electric energy of the city adding an extra sprinkle of joy to their special day. It was a true New Orleans love story, filled with laughter, music, and a whole lot of heart!

As the golden sun dipped below the horizon, B and J found themselves on the sandy shores of the Florida Panhandle, surrounded by the Gulf breeze. With their companion C leading the way on the nature trail, we began their evening beach session, commemorating the beautiful memories they’ve built since they moved into the area in 2021.
