2 years ago they were supposed to get married in Key West, but we all know how 2020 went. D + K didn’t let that stop them from planning an intimate wedding in 2022!

Now on their 14th anniversary, they made it happen! It wasn’t initially planned that way, but I couldn’t think of a sweeter date for them to get married. We started the day K and the girls getting ready together at their beach rental before heading to the beach.

WOW! What a weekend! There are too many words to describe J + L’s wedding weekend, but here are a few: genuine, joyful, entertaining, and fantastic.

There are few couples in this world that I would be willing to do 2 weddings in one weekend for (let alone the same day!), but C + K were one of those couples.

Couples are scaling down their guest lists and investing more into their wedding than ever to create an ultra personalized wedding day for themselves and their guests to enjoy! Across the board these trends are fun, unique, and beautiful—from how couple’s structure their day to the vendors. 

Florida weather is unpredictable, especially once hurricane season starts, but R, J + their families were true troopers rolling with the changes!

That is also a huge bonus to having an intimate wedding: more flexibility to change plans up because you are moving less people!

What a day with the K’s! Molly got ready with her close friends and her two sisters while Mark got ready with his. After they were all ready, Mark and Molly did a first look. Mark almost couldn’t wait for her to get to him and tried to sneak a peek, don’t worry he didn’t! During their ceremony the emotion was so pure and sweet, not just from them, but their guests as well.

As micro weddings are becoming more popular it is fun to put together shoots to show all the different possibilities. Along with the incredible team of vendors we brought this California beach micro wedding to life with warm toned glasses on a table surrounded by the natural rock formations, an abundance of baby’s breath and a golden arch.

It is always such a blast getting to work with couples who choose Florida for their destination wedding! I am definitely biased living here and think it is such an incredible place to get married. R + C are from New York and made planning a destination wedding seem seamless.

When I connected with A + K in April of 2020 they were planning for an intimate wedding of about 40 in the Florida Keys. But as the year went on and COIVD continued they decided to shift their plans. A + K’s guest list became that of 6 of their closest friends.
