Some friendships are just meant to be, and my bond with S is one of those special connections! We met in college during a photography class and quickly became fast friends. Since then, I’ve had the privilege of photographing her relationship with R, first in Miami on my way to the Keys for an elopement, and now in Knoxville for their engagement photos.

Love knows no season, and for R and M, December became the canvas for their breathtaking engagement session bathed in the warm hues of a Gulf Coast sunset!

In the bustling fashion capital of the world, Milan, where dreams are woven into the finest fabrics and aspirations soar higher than the iconic Duomo, a love story unfolded that transcended borders and cultures. This is the tale of G and Y, a couple whose meeting a few years ago changed their lives forever!

For K + A’s engagement photos we kicked things off at this modern bar that oozed charm and served some of the prettiest cocktails. In between sips I learned of how they met (an office love story!!), memorable dates (click to open below), the proposal and their sweet pup Lola (click to open below)!

It was so wonderful to get some with D + C during their wedding planning trip to Florida! We were able to sneak in some time in Rosemary Beach for their engagement session. With Espresso martini’s being part of their love language so it was only fitting to make a pit stop at The Pearl’s bar before eventually making our way out to the beach where we were met with the most beautiful sunset and breeze!

Right before I got into town this past May I got the best texts from someone who is like family and it wasn’t even words. It was a single picture of M and J, M was absolutely beaming as she was holding up her left hand showing the ring J proposed with after their run (honestly impressed he was able to hold on to it)!

Running around the city after the sun has gone down and most people are in the comforts of their home is truly unparalleled. And getting to do it with L + H added to the magic of the night! I know these two from Florida and it was such a sweet time getting to catch up with them in New York City where they moved after getting married this past year. During our time together I got to experiment more with film which was exciting, can you guess which photos are film vs digital?!

L and I became good friends last year, in 2020, when we were both new to Destin, Florida. L having moved from out west and me from Tennessee. In a short span she became a good friend to me and it was so bittersweet when she moved, but I couldn’t be more happy for her and J!

Fast forward to 2021 she moved and is living in Washington with her person. She and J met while in college, but continued to keep in touch years later. I love the love they have for each other and was so honored to capture it while in Seattle visiting and getting to know J better. They were the best hosts and it was amazing getting to see the city through their eyes. L and I even took some time to go hike at Mt. Rainer National Park! I might be biased, but L only deserves the best and J is absolutely that for her!
