Florida weather is unpredictable, especially once hurricane season starts, but R, J + their families were true troopers rolling with the changes!

That is also a huge bonus to having an intimate wedding: more flexibility to change plans up because you are moving less people!

S, R’s sister, officiated their wedding and had everyone laughing most of it with her punchy lines. She even wrote them a poem that was recited during the ceremony.

After the ceremony we were originally supposed to go to the beach for their picnic, but due to the rain they opted to host it in the dinning room of their beach house, which couldn’t have turned out better!

We did eventually did get a break in the rain to head out to the beach and do photos of the two of them! As we were wrapping up it started to rain again. We got the perfect pocket of weather!

I think what made the day extra special was them not only sharing it with their families, but getting to celebrate it with their daughter.
