More and more couples are gravitating toward micro weddings, not only because they are budget friendly, but more so due to them craving a more personalized and intimate experience with their loved ones for their wedding day. A micro wedding is best described as a scaled down version of a traditional wedding. This kind of celebrating is perfect for couples that want to have an intimate celebration and a thoughtful guest experience. Due to being a budget-friendly alternative to big weddings, couple’s can invest more in vendors and elements that they truly care about and speak to them! They can even host their wedding at smaller and more unique venues that a larger guest count could not accommodate!

When D moved to Florida from Hawaii I gained a new friend and I am so glad that I did. T + D are down for anything including running around the beach as the last rays of light dip over the horizon and the sky turns colors of cotton candy.

With couples being forced to do their weddings and honeymoons differently due to COIVD, new ways of celebrating came about. One of my favorites is exactly what J + E did, a one year anniversary session! They shared a corona during their session and it was fitting since it’s their favorite beer and they got married mid pandemic. Popping a bottle of bubbly celebrated their one year of marriage. J + E kept each other laughing the entire time and it was such a sweet evening celebrating their one year!

When I connected with A + K in April of 2020 they were planning for an intimate wedding of about 40 in the Florida Keys. But as the year went on and COIVD continued they decided to shift their plans. A + K’s guest list became that of 6 of their closest friends.

My first trip to Montana was spent with incredible couples, among them were P + L. They live in Bozeman with their young kids. L is also a local photographer and incredibly gracious to introduce me to this beautiful location!
